Favia corals are lps corals which have small circular pattern along their sleletal structure each with individual mouths. They are very similar to Favites and are also commonly known by the same name, Pineapple coral.
Favias like most other lps have sweeper tentacles which can expand beyond their skeletal structure so space between this coral and other surrounding corals is a must. Favias like other lps also require feeding with foods such as brine shrimp, reef roids, lobster eggs and other meaty foods.
